Best Face 2011 I Heart Faces - Allen, TX Photographer

It was so refreshing to photograph a beautiful friend.   I think we should all have beautiful photos of just ourselves to look back upon and show our children once they've grown.

(Usually I am chasing after little children, trying to get the focus point right on their eye before they are off again.   I am sure ya'll know what that is like!)

Undecided: Project 365 or Project 52???

January 1st:

A bit undecided I am as to whether or not I can keep up with a Project 365, but just in case I have taken a photo each day for the first two days of 2012. 

After  weeks of a lot of cooking, we had breakfast for dinner. Yes, this is my husband and he eats most meals with chopsticks, even waffles.

January 2nd:

This about sums up my feelings too for the end of a wonderful, relaxing 2011 holiday.  Wish I could kick back and take a nap on the couch too!

The holidays have come so fast upon us this year.  We are so thankful for everything we have been given and finally moved into a wonderful new home that we just love. We are blessed and our boys are growing so quickly, and are such a joy. (except when they argue over a toy!  ha ha!)   It seems I had a hard time getting one great photo of the both of them, so I'll just settle for posting a few of my individual holiday favorites.    Wishing everyone all the best!

BLACK is the week's theme, oh no not black and white but black in a color photo.  Some weeks I know exactly which photo I want to post.  For this week I had no photo in mind.  I just happened to squeeze in this awesome piano photo shoot with another photog mom (her piano - thanks Lisa!)  and waaalaaa - here is my black in a color photo!

Let Them Be Little at I Heart Faces, Photo Challenge

For this week's theme - Let Them Be Little - I went through several old photo folders from when my two were littler and I came across this completely forgotten photo.   This was back when I was practicing getting catchlights while my boys played with bubbles, so I never realized I had captured this crazy fun photo at the time I was shooting, (focusing on the catchlights remember, didn't see the bubble thing going on the side of my younger son's head)   This is just a fun photo and I hope it gives you a laugh!

A Family Session, Frisco family photographer

So thankful this family decided to tough it out in the light drizzle yesterday and that mom brought some cookies! :) My son would have eaten them all if allowed. This is a beautiful family with adorable little girls in to-die-for outfits. Just a pleasure to photograph and so fun to edit
